“THE GALANT: MOZART and HAYDN”
The Galant is a term referring to a musical style principally occurring in the third quarter of the 18th century. Its hallmark is a return to classical simplicity after the complexity of the late Baroque era. The music of Franz Joseph Haydn, his brother Michael Haydn and the young Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will be featured.
